New in house studio + kids= fun over NYE

Well, I set up my little in house studio for the first time yesterday and took some pics of the kids and family that were over. Still have much to learn:

Black paper background, 1 alien Bee B800 shooting through umbrella, Canon 1D mark 2 with 580ex is what I used. Any tips for me to do better next time. Admittedly this was very sloppily set up in my kitchen and I didn't set up a 2nd B800 so I probably could have used it.

    I love the 2nd-to-last one. I think the top too the light is dialed up a bit too high maybe.
