A New Day, A New Year

What better way to start the new year than behind the lens? This is a shot of Mt. Timpanogos about 10 min. before sunrise. It was stunningly beautiful, and unbelievably cold (right about 4 degrees F). I can't imagine what the passers by on the road thought as they saw a guy running in place with a cable release in hand and camera on tripod. I'll give you hint--I wasn't running for the exercise...

Another great shot. Your so lucky you already got snow. Out here in California we are finally getting our first real snow fall. Can't wait to get up into the Sierras. Once again great shot.
