i just decided that i'd like show some of my basketball pictures from my high school's team. i wanted to know if they're any good. all of the pictures and tons more are on my website binghott.com. i have some good girls basketball pics too.

all of these were taken with my digital rebel and probably with my 70-200 f/2.8.

i can't wait for the spring season to start!

Hiya Barry and welcome to Dgrins wave.gif

These are nice thumb.gifthumb.gif So what settings do you normally use when using a flash for B-ball? That 70-200mm must give you lots of flexibilty too.

If you scroll back a bit in this forum you'll see quite a few B-ball posts. One thing that gets repeated is "faces, faces, faces". Your shots definitely cover that well clap.gif

    Keep posting those pics :):

Good job, Barry. Nice action on #3. How was the lighting without the flash?
My take on the pics-crop tighter. Keep on postin em!

steve, you wanted to know what settings i used, but i really varied all over. optimally i wanted iso 800, 1/200 or faster, and anywhere between 2.8 and 5.0 aperture.

    Thx Bing thumb.gif

    ISO800 and F2.8-F5.0 sounds lovely. Much nicer than ISO1600, F2 and 1/400 without a flash...lol

    Thanks for answering,

yeah, i wasn't very satisfied with the higher isos, but i used iso 1600 for the foul shots without flash.
