I tried out the d300 shooting in vivid. probably I won't do that again. the reds are really red:huh :rofl .

5 please squint as not to hurt your eyes

I also managed to under expose & lost the eyes some..I tried bringing it up but didn't quite get it where I wanted it.

    Good set dave, the 4th is the strongest shot because the eye is clear.

    I had to hit properties and copy the URL to view the pics. Do you have sharing enabled for that gallery?

    Hi Dave.. All I'm getting is "Question Mark".. no photos. They are nice question marks though.
    I'm on a Mac so I can't hit Properties to veiw.

    Yo, those reds are really red :D

    Were these taken in RAW? If yes, then you should be able to switch the vivid off.

    na...I shot in jpeg....I had the vivid mode on to see what it was like...thanks though Al.

    I went out the next morning & did a little better

    Looks cold there Dave. Brave man to go out in that snow. Glad I don't have to worry about that anymore. Nice series. Likethe 2nd shot with the food in the mouth. Good timing.

    19 degrees this morning I hate the cold & yet I find myself out in it more & more to shoot:crazy

    Were these taken in RAW? If yes, then you should be able to switch the vivid off.
    look in camera control and you can turn it off in raw --looks cold even in vivid :D
