I tried out the d300 shooting in vivid. probably I won't do that again. the reds are really red:huh :rofl .

I also managed to under expose & lost the eyes some..I tried bringing it up but didn't quite get it where I wanted it.

Hi Dave.. All I'm getting is "Question Mark".. no photos. They are nice question marks though.
I'm on a Mac so I can't hit Properties to veiw.

Were these taken in RAW? If yes, then you should be able to switch the vivid off.

na...I shot in jpeg....I had the vivid mode on to see what it was like...thanks though Al.
I went out the next morning & did a little better

look in camera control and you can turn it off in raw --looks cold even in vivid
