New iMac won't recognize DV Camera.

My 2.4GHz (Ai) iMac won't recognize my Canon Eura 100 DV Cam. It did recognize it prior to upgrading to Leopard, but now it won't. I have tried the FW400 port as well as every USB 2.0. I went tried my camera with my FW400 cable on another iMac running Leopard and it worked fine.
The FW400 port has a Lacie external drive attached to it...I tried both removing the Lacie drive and daisy chaining off the drive using the extra FW400 prot ont he back of the drive...nothing. :dunno
I want to start using iMovie and uploading my videos to my SmugMug account but cannot do so until I get this resolved.
Any suggestions?
