What software do I need to download from the Canon website in order to get the shutter accuations from my Mark II? Thanks.

I think Opanda will work (free):

Windows-only. Ugh. But I don't think the shutter count is stored in the RAW image, is it?

I'm checking both RAW and JPG files.

I just tried the Opanda utility (JPG only) and I couldn't find the actuations, but 2 versions of DPP and one version of the EOS Viewer didn't show it obviously either.

I thought I found it somewhere and I'll keep looking.

This utility seems to work accurately on RAW files but not the JPG files I checked (even though it's supposed to.)

It apparently does not work on the MKIII files, just so you know.

It is also a simple Windows utility. If you want me to read one of your files, contact me via e-mail.

P.S. I just double-checked with a really old (German) version of "CanCount" and the FoxBat utility agreed.

I'll email you a raw file tonight. I'll also try DPP on my Mac. I'm a bit concnered it won't load however. I just moved to a new computer and I didn't bother taking over the EOS Viewer, and I think DPP is very picky about how its installed.
