I'm selling my Canon 1D Mark II camera. I bought it used from here on dgrin about two years ago. I'll post pictures later as well as an accuation count. The body itself appears flawless. A little visible wear on the shoe, but that is it. No marks on the LCD's. Never had an issue other than dust. I have the box, two batteries, the Canon strap, and the twin charger. The only issue is the twin charger only works on one lead, don't know why.

Its a great camera and the 1-series is indeed a blast to shoot with. Its hard to explain why the users have this religion about them, but shoot with it and you'll understand. I'm stepping up/down to a 40D. I'll lose the big viewfinder and the awesome auto-focus in exchange for better high ISO, less weight, and a smaller body. For what I shoot these days the trade-offs are worth it for me.

Asking $1,700. I live in north Austin, TX. I can take paypal or cashier's check.

Photos now!

Shutter accuations are under 25,000 so this camear has a TON of life still in it. I was going to take pictures last night until I realized its the only camera I own. :D I hope to get a 40D today so that I can take snapshots.

Yes sports fans, the Canon 1D MKII has a shutter rated at 200,000 actuations so this camera is just barely broken in.

The autofocus is really spectacular in both speed and accuracy, especially in low light situations. At 8 fps it still ranks among the worlds fastest cycling cameras.

Dynamic range and high-ISO noise are very good and compare favorably with other modern cameras. Post processing with a noise reduction software, I use "Neat Image", produces images comparable to anything out there.

The batteries are rated to around 1200 shots per charge, but I've never come close to that in my use.

This is just a wonderful camera and, at this price, a genuine value.

I'll know after lunch. Customer is looking at it at lunch and, hopefully, buying. :)
