Varanasi and Ganga Ma (please give feedback, comments)

I took a trip to Varanasi in November.

Many friends and relatives asked why I would want to go there. These pictures answer that question better than I ever could with words.

People love to have their picture taken there. So different than what I know in California. People act like they are wanted criminals here at home.

    I think that you have some fine photos there - nice captures of life. Great color in some of them as well and nice even exposures.

    All of them have fairly centered subjects and they are pretty tight crops as well. Some of them might have been more interesting to the viewer with more of a sweeping view and some placement of subjects somewhere in the frame other than dead center.

    Just some basic thoughts. Thanks for posting these.
