Just back from Hogmanay in the Highlands. The weather was mostly kind, and the whiskey was flowing!

Lovely scenery, and good job photographing it too. Mark that down as another place to visit one day.

And btw, as I like these sort of puzzles, I checked your picture against a star chart. You've got Aldebaran and the Hyades cluster on the right, which means the bright fellow is Mars.

Pyry, thanks for the info.. I just wish I had turned the camera towards the sky later that night.. it's one of the few places in Scotland (let alone the UK) where the milky way is still clearly visible, and it was stunning that night.
