Took this, this morning. Not much else happening the woods were quiet. Snow squalls intermittent. Full sun with snow coming down mixed with 10ft visibility.
Typical Calgary Alberta in the spring.
A 100% crop

Thanks Lynn the clarity and detail are all from the lens. It is incredibly sharp if I do the right things:D . The crop is probably giving a false perspective I was about 15 ft away standing/kneeling on a bank.

I wanted to get closer but he has a personal space bubblerolleyes1.gif .

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry I was gunning for a nice clear shot of a mallard I missed some earlier in the week that just lacked the punch this one had.

Great shot Shaky. I love being able to see his foot in the water and the higher shutter speed capturing the splashing water droplets. Awesome.thumb.gifthumb.gif
