Really beautiful child and nice focus on the eyes in the shot.........the white balance seems a bit off in this one to me. Are her eyes blue? If so, the shot may have a bit too much red/yellow.

Nice shot - thanks for posting this.

Thanks for your response bauerman. I am greener than green when it comes to photography, and even more green when it comes to PP'ing images. Since I got my new Canon 24-70L f2.8 USM lens I have been playing around and trying my hand at different techniques, and this one was trying to give the image a more 'editorial' type look. The original RAW image is underexposed and I am having a little difficulty bringing it into CS3 from RAW without the computer crashing, not sure why, so this image has been PP'd using the JPEG as the original.

I'd appreciate it if you could have a look at the original and see if you can come up with something a little better for me, after all. I'd love this shot on my wall, but not in it's current state.

    Thanks in advance.

it is hard to take a bad pic of a kid that cute.

I agree teh color is off a bit. I really like elements adjust to skin tone feature. I looks like taken with incandescant lights. You can adjust the color balance on the camera to make it more true. I think it looks good as is.
