Did this trip in the last week of Dec 2007. What a way to end the year!?
1. The end of the world cafe!
2. Tibetian buddhist temple
3. A panorama
4.My ride
5. The river(This is not an HDR)
6.A closup of the Dhauladhar ranges
7.The road to heaven?\
8. sunset silhouette
9. The Valley at night
10. Where Eagles dare
Comments and criticques welcome.
The bird shots are not that good. Reason is the 75-300 Canon lens, which is slow, and slow in focusing too. Moreover its sharp only at F10.
I used this lens after many months. Hopefully sometime this year I will have a good telephoto lens(75-300 IS?). L is out of budget.
I also have to learn how to get my hands steady and how to focus on birds in flight!

The night shot of the valley seems both strange and familiar at the same time. At first I thought it looked like the shots I'd seen people post of the LA area, but of course with many many more lights.
I'm amused to see the monks selling Coca-Cola products!
Photos that don't suck / 365 / Film & Lomography
I found it really hilarious(the pose and all), especially coupled with "End of the world cafe" signboard.
This was at the end of a 1 mile trekking trail.
