A few test shots with my new 200-400VR.
Taken on it's fantastic min focus distance of 6.2 ft. With a slight crop.
These were taken in harsh midday sun, with the D300, WB set to Auto. Spot meter & tripod used.
Not sure what has caused the blue fringing (in 1 & 2) on the wingtips & stick?
It's not from over sharpening as it's evident prior to any PP and it's not a water reflection. Any ideas?
Like the 300VR, I love the bokeh on these. :D

C & C most welcome

Cheers
Marc

Wow, I never would have though that the lens could almost be used as a macro. Throw some tubes on there and you may get even closer!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
