If this link has been brought up before recently, apologies. I thought it was too damn cool for words:
http://www.prime-junta.net/pont/How_to/100_Curves_and_Films/_Curves_and_films.html
Essentially, the author discusses how to use PS curves to simulate cross-processed, portra, velvia, and provia color film, and a wide range of black and white film.
The black and white film section had me stumped until I realized he was giving channel-mixer ratios. :rolleyes
Maas Zeeman has converted the Photoshop curves to Bibble: http://www.xs4all.nl/~mmzeeman/bibble/index.html
scroll down the page to find the link. Bibble users can also use the Deejay plugin to emulate the black-and-white formulas. Assuming you don't want to just spend $20 on AndyPRO.
Oh, and the rest of prime-junta.net is pretty awesome, too. Come to think of it, so is Maas Zeeman's site.
