    Nice sharp capture Troy. I might consider cloning out that small branch directly overhead. It doesn't look like it's growing directly out of the birds head, but it is a tad distracting. Well done.

    excellent suggestion! ya know i thought about that and what happens is sometimes when i try to do more than i can handle i dont know when to stop and I ruin so many images that way. i probably have the most unusual workflow and i guess i felt cloning out that branch would be too much. but now that i look at it again with "fresh" eyes - it shouldnt be that difficult...
    and tonight when i get home im gonna try it

    While you are cloning out the twig...try seeing how it looks by cropping off about 1/4th of the area above the birds head. Just my take.
