Today I have been taking some pictures where some young people were singing and playing musical instruments.
Here are some shots.
.
I used a Canon 20D + 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM
In fact I was lucky in these particular shots because I was shooting with a very slow speed, in spite of having set the ISO to 400 and 800.
I was afraid of the noise that a higher ISO would produce. In fact, I throw away many pictures because they were blurred, useless.
The aperture used was f/2.8
At least, I have learned:
1. I should have used a higher ISO to have a consequent higher speed;
2. I could have used a Canon 5D, which I don't have :wink
3. I should have been to the rehearsals to have freedom of movement and make better shots using the off camera flash, for example.
The Canon 20D produces a very annoying shutter speed sound in situations like these. Only a higher camera is silent.
