Finally, the long wait is over - we have snow! :clap

There's a couple of inches now and more on the way. Fingers crossed it'll stay.

Did it stay? I love the action of the falling flakes that you caught in that shot. :D

Send some of that weather this way! It's 70F today. :cry

It has so far, but the forecast for the next few days is 35 F (+2C), rain and 16 knot winds. Doesn't look good, again.

I'll have the upstairs weather planning office send you one of those canadien specials soon as I've made sure their heads have been banged to a wall as much as mine. lol3.gif

Can we have some more snow, please! I haven't been tobogganing yet.
Surprised it took so long for Finland.
Here in Toronto where we don't get much snow (on the banks of L. Ontario which shunts the snow over Buffalo :D ) but we had early snow this winter that stayed until early this week. All we have left are random bits of dirty ice.

The snow looks nice there. Hope it falls thick enough to survive the +2.

More snow for everybody, I say! :D

Moni: It's the warm(ish) sea and constant cloud cover keeping the lid down, tends to take till January to get a lasting snow cover. Feels as if we had five seasons, 3 months of spring, 3 months worth of a summer, 1 month of autumn, then for 3 months it's just bleak without any real weather and then finally when hell freezes over, we get two months of winter. Breaking through as we speak, thank goodness thumb.gif

    theNOIZ: Fabulous!
