Yep, that's an accurate picture of San Francisco in the rain.

Wow, neat photos of the deYoung museum. I haven't been there since the "new" building opened up. You really got some nice photos!

You know, if I have the point and shoot, I miss the dSLR, If I have the dSLR, then I miss the point and shoot. You know, you just can't win.

Fortunately my dSLR is normal sized and fits in my large purse. My point and shoot was never that small.

We got my grandson a small point and shoot, and I'm anxious to try it out.

Sometimes, you just gotta shoot what there is, rain and all.

And yes, that was a fair bit of rain we've had recently, along with the worst "storm" to hit in several years. We were without power for quite a while. I was going through severe internet withdrawal pains.

Hey, gear doesnt equal great shots. Some of the most fascinating photographs I have ever seen are Robert Capa's photos when he went ashore on D-Day. They are grainy, out of focus, and technically terrible. But, thats part of what makes them so amazing.

I think your images are really great. I especially love the second one, and the one in the museum.
