First post of my own. I spent last Saturday driving 630 miles, from 5:00 AM to 9:45 PM - to see the 100 year bloom of wildflowers n Death Valley. It was stunning. I don't know how long it will last, but if you are a fan of these things you should really go.

regards,

Gary

    Andy,

Absolutely wonderful to hear from you - and as the first reply to my first post no less. Thanks as in the past, in other places, for your amazing thoughtfulness.

    Angelo,

Thanks for your welcome! The hundred year bloom is like a hundred year storm - a very rare event. Basically an unusal confluence of rain and weather at an optimal time. You are lucky to experience this once in a lifetime, or so I understand.

    regards,

    Gary

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
