Problems happening with customizations

I am having trouble getting customizations to "stick".

In addition, I have the standardized smugmug footer where it was removed yesterday with this code that I entered into my CSS box:

.cartlink_footer,
.loginLink {display: none;}

In other words, this above customizatin was working yesterday.....
today the same code is still there but, the "minimal footer" is gone. I posted something in the customization area but, realized it might have been better served in this forum.

See other two threads, you're missing a } after your banner CSS.

Please try to keep all your posts in one thread, will make it easier to help.
