Okay, don't critique the vingette.. it was my first time to try one in photoshop so that part was just an experiment. At first I was worried that the face was to blown (and it probably is) but I can't stop coming back to look at the picture because of her eyes! both of our daughters have simply gorgeous eyes IMO and this captures them wonderfully :) ignore the dirty face.. they were eating lunch :D.. it's harder and harder for me to catch them sitting still so I take any chance I can get at it to take pictures :)

Oh, and if you look real close in their eyes you can see my reflection taking their picture LOL

I still haven't moved into taking pictures of hardly anyone else (although I'm about to start doing freebies for family and close friends to gain experience) so my poor kids have became use to the camera :D

Oh, and that lens was a tamron 18-50mm 2.8 lens. Just got it in last week and am loving using it.

Agree that you did a very good job. The first girl looks very unnatural though. Too much fiddling. The second one is very very nice.
Your girls do have wonderful eyes, it would be a crime not to snap them!
    Keep shooting...

    I like 'em.

Looks like you will have concerns like me as they grow older. My seven year old daughter has beautiful blue eyes too and she's a cutie. We'll have to sit at the door with a shotgun to keep the boys in line- that is when she starts dating at 30 years old.:D
