    Finally remembered to do this....Thanks!

But, it doesn't seem to do anything when I click on "Email Lynne." Could someone else confirm? Was there some editing needed to the JS? I copied & pasted as-is. Thanks!

Functions perfectly when I try it in both IE and Firefox.

    Worked for me as well....

Here's some nits to track down and kill...

On your "Pricing" page, need to update the e-mail link there

Again on your "Pricing" page, need some pad between the text on the left and the pictures on the right, (FireFox 2.0.0.11)

I like the font and size of font you have used on most of your site. The size is different and smaller on the "Wedding Pricing" page. Is this intended? And, ignoring the bolded text, it appears you have two different size font on that page (but that may just be my eyes).

Hmm, worked fine for me in IE6 but not in FF. On this computer, Outlook is my default email client, and IME Microsoft products and Mozilla don't work too nicely together.

I am still fiddling with sizeing on the pricing info page, there's just so much text and I am trying to find the happy medium. There is a "fine print" text size (HTML tag: <small></small>)

Any idea how to force some padding in that journal style "Pricing" page via CSS?

Lynne, the email link comes up ok for me in FF. I love, love, love the shot you have on your homepage. It is so warm and wonderful! iloveyou.gif I have to agree with others on your portfolio being too full..........hey, I do the same thing!!! A few thoughts came to mind when I re-visited your site. The first page is predominantly B&W. While I love B&W, many brides are looking for color. Your portfolio suggests you use a lot of B&W. On the first page you want to pull in all your viewers....I would add more color here. I also noticed that you have a lot of full length, group - type shots. These are difficult to view as small thumbs and look 'busy' when you view an entire page of them. Some close-up or detail-type shots would stand out a bit more. It gives a somewhat cluttered effect when I view the entire page, and cluttered is not a description of the way I think of your photography! I noticed you are using only the 'L' size for viewing. That's entirely your decision and I certainly understand it! But with the super- wide Smugmungous setting, you see a lot of (small) thumbs and a very small image. Then you click on the image (if you think to do so) you still don't get a very satisfying image. Personally, I'm not entirely sold on this feature unless you are using at least the XL setting as it cuts down on the initial viewing size. (Are you still with me??? Laughing.gif...) I know your photography rocks, but others visiting your site don't. In my mind, I would pick out shots that look super as thumbs and clear out any that don't. Most Pro sites I visit tend to lean towards detail shots and now I think I understand why. People have short attention spans and you want something to 'grab' them right away. I like Jeffreaux's idea of having a smaller portfolio and then when they decide to delve further, they can view some galleries based on subject matter (engagements, preparations, ceremony, etc.) Again, I would keep each gallery clean, simple and uncluttered...my very best. A dozen or so shots so they can get a taste of what you do. I'm beginning to feel the "Less is More" philosophy the more Pro sites I visit. I really like the look of your site, and I like that you decided on a single, still image for the homepage as opposed to a slide show. It really looks great!!!

    Just browsing your site.

Very nitpicky, but, I see something not quite right with your banner and navbar. I am not sure if it was the font you used, or the method of the resize....or whatever, but there are some teeniny little artifacts or aliasing going on with the text. Surely a picky thing, but as clean and streamlined as your site is....and as big a perfectionist as you are.....just thought I would point that out.

I like the pinstriping that spans the width of my monitor. I might have to get you to teach me how you did that!!

Very nice. Very clean....and of course filled with excellent photographs!

Lynne, let me know if you need help w/ this. I know exactly what it is but it's a bit OT to post a how to in this thread. Just let me know which app your using to design and we'll get that sorted out easythumb.gif

    Lynne,

I noticed something that might or might not have been done on purpose, but wanted to bring it to your attention.

In your "Featured Wedding: Carrie-Ann & Pete" gallery, most of the pictures in the gallery have the caption "Jerrell Smith Wedding Indianapolis" under them. The first three or so in the gallery do not, but the rest seem to.

Spot checking the rest of the Portfolio category I didn't see any others with captions, other than the very first image in the "Lynne's Favorite Moments" gallery. Again, this might have been done on purpose, but wanted to let you know if for some reason the caption shouldn't be there.

I think the overall look and feel of the site is very well done!

Thanks for catching this, Scott! I turned captions and keywords off, you're right, I don't want those showing! thanks for looking and critique-ing!
