Temperature spike today caused some unexpected visitors for the middle of January. :clap Found this window gnat (I think) on my way in the house after work today.

Lovely shots- Not sure if it's a window gnat or a winter midge - looks different to the ones I've been photographing (much spikier legs) but I could be mis-identifying mine :)

Brian--did a little more searching aroung and I think this is a fungus gnat, not a window gnat. Identified using this link: http://bugguide.net/node/view/42117

It does have the more spikey legs and is local to this area. Thanks for pointing this out.
