I received an e-mail from them a couple of days ago asking if I would submit some photos to them (they specifically mentioned seeing my SM site). I'm still trying to figure out the deal - without other photos shown (the e-mail said they were still building the site) I'm a little hesitant to get involved with them just yet.

Well, I received the same email and request. There is so little details; it does not seem legitimate. Also, the release form really state that they can use the images for whatever they please...fishy?
Custom Puzzles
Hi all,
I am in fact using them after getting an email from another photog. I had concerns about the wording of the contract and they re-worded it to reflect usage for puzzles only. I live on the west coast of Vancouver Island and do a lot of wildlife and landscape work. She has one customer that loves bears and Diane requested any pics I had. I just received an email from Diane yesterday stating that the customer absolutely loved the photos and ordered 19 (yes...19 ) puzzles. I will have a decent check coming at the end of the month.
Diane came highly recommended and I have no reason for concern at this point. They are indeed revising the website. My understanding is that the site will allow the pics to be in individual photog folders (copyrighted with your name) and customers will be able to view the pics online and order from them. Diane is sending me a few samples of my own puzzles for review and I hope to have them within a week or so depending on customs.
I'll keep you posted as to timeliness of payment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. If you do business with them, tell Diane that you heard from me.
