I just started shooting macros a bit back, it's fun for sure but obviously by looking at the work ya'll do, I need to practice, practice, practice....
I use a Tamron 90mm 2.8 lens AND a tripod (learned that the hard way). I love the lens for portrait work too...

    You'd think the web would really sag or droop under the weight of some of these spiders wouldn't you, but they seem to support them like a mattress.
