Has been a while since I posted here. I finally upgraded to DSLR.
Meet Nina, 7 years old. We had a fun shoot. Shot with flash on board.

Very sharp and well exposed flash shots - a lot of detail captured there. Did you sharpen these at all in post processing? Good composition on both as well - filled the frame.

Thanks so much. :D I sharpen with an action made by Twang which I found some years ago. I still like it. It creates layers which can be easily modified to your taste after sharpening.

Recently I found a nice article about sharpening here http://photoclubalpha.com/2007/12/13/true-detail-vs-fake-sharpness/#more-513

Hey, how are you doing? Ever build your light tent?

I stepped up to a dSLR too. Last year, as a matter of fact. I'm still learning all the ins and outs. I think I'm ready to start saving for a better lens.

Thanks, I'm doing fine. Yes, I made a light tent and then struggled with it for some months. Then I got me two Elinchrom flash lights and softboxes and more stuff. This is like going DSLR, a total new world. :ivar So I even got me a third light now and made some real money with packshots.wings.gif
