I haven't been around here much lately, because I took November off to participate in (and win ) NaNoWriMo and then got busy with Christmas and life.

I just stopped by to check out the new topic and saw that it is 'Face or Hands'. Unfortunately, this is about the closest thing I've shot this week:

Well, it is certainly a unique perspective on the theme. I like it. The color is very nice. It seems sharp enough. I'm by no means a macro-person, so don't know what to say. I'm curious how much of the original image this is..

Thanks Mark. This is pretty much the whole picture. I did crop off about a 1/3 of the frame which would have made up the 'arm' portion, but it was just more tree branch which was out of focus from the angle and dof, so didn't add anything to the shot.

Thank you. Guess I have an over active imagination, but as soon as I looked at the picture, I saw some sort of a claw like hand with scaly fingers pointing down across the screen. My husband said it reminds him of a chicken's foot and a friend on another site asked what sort of alien it belongs to.

Well, I've been trying to get a few decent shots to choose from, but my models don't like to sit still long enough. Guess that's the problem working with kids. Here's what I feel is my best shot so far. I like his expression and the lighting is the closest to good I can get right now with all the fog we've been having.

Any where close to being something worth submitting?

Any comments or suggestions welcome, including title suggestions. While I like his expression, I'm having a hard time pegging exactly what he looks like he's thinking.
