Northern California. We don't have the coldest winter, but it gets cold enough, flowers stop blooming for the season. So imagine my suprise when I came home today and found a few roses had bloomed in front of the house. They are not perfect, few imperfections. But I got caught in the moment and wanted to share. (Be gentle, this is my first photo thread)

Hi there Tamplum, and nice to see your first post here with us
I see the kids are happy to be flower sniffing, scented Roses are just devine.
Imperfections can sometimes be more interesting I believe
The two I like most in this series are numbers #6 and #7
The children look like they are having fun
Thanks for sharing, so now that you've done your first post,
you won't be afraid to post again ...... Skippy

The original intent was just the flowers. But then the kids started sniffing and led to the other shots
