    OK!

Need a little help here. Dave is a friend of mine, (even if he doesn't admit to it.) :D , and I just got through talking to him about this image.

On my screen it's horribly dark, yet he says on his it's good.

Now he can view other images posted here, as well as this image from Dgrin, and all look good.

Yet on my screen this one, along with other images he sent e-mailed (viewed in PS, and / or Dgrin) all are too way dark.

Please help and let me know how you view the exposure of this image, Good or dark?

    Thanks!

    Sam

Looks a little underexposed here on my Huey calibrated monitor.

Thanks for the in put. I'm just starting out in photography, it's fun
but I have a long ways to go. Any help anyone can give me is welcomed.

And to what Sam said about being a friend, he is indeed! You can't
go through the stuff we've been through and not be GOOD friends.

    Dave-

It is a little dark(underexposed) and maybe a little over saturated.

Here is a 2 minute fix- adjusted exposure, reduced saturation a tad, sharpened, and a touch of contrast.

Looks a little more like the real thing

Hey AAron good to hear from you. The image you sent doesn't look
at all like what I shot. My first image is as-shot with only, crop, and
seizing. The image was taken last Sun. after a rain. The colors are as
you see them.... on my screen. I'm including another image that I
lightened a Lot. Let me knowWYT. I even thru in some funky sky and
    water.

Yeah- that is kind of what I was getting at. The way you shot the photo is a little underexposed, that is why it is a bit dark to everyone. deal.gif

Can you post your EXIF Data? It would help us to help you.

Aron's quick fix looks, from an exposure stand point, much better on my screen, but in all honesty all the versions look like something is way wrong?

This image is terrible on my screen, Way over saturated, the sky is blue purple, I can't see any detail in the rocks.

Yikes!!! What is going on here?

Just to clarify something. Dave and I went through the Lower Antelope Canyon together in November. I have some nice prints, nice enough (no bragging) to sell, hang on a wall, etc. I really think Dave has a few shots that are better than any thing I got that day, so I'm not trying to beat him up here, just trying find out why these look soo bad on my monitor.
