A little late, but here is a Mexican Christmas tradition of Las Posadas (The Inn) at Olvera Street in Los Angeles. (Olvera Street is the historic "First Street" of Los Angeles.)

Las Posadas is a Mexican reenactment of Joseph and Mary as they sought out shelter. Traditionally the reenactment is carried out all in song with participants and spectators all contributing to the reenactment. Posadas are carried out in Mexico for nine days from December 16 through December 24th

    Hey Awais-

Happy New Year! Thanks ... it was a very challenging shoot, very dark and crowded ... I enjoyed the challenge. I hope things get better in Pakistan this year.

Nice Gary! You captured some great facial expressions, like the first shot, the shepherds and the lady singing. Looks like a very tough shoot, but your photos were successful & tell the story well.

Thanks ... Las Posadas just seems to bring the religious aspects and the celebration aspects together into a neat all encompassing package enveloped in song.
