bent pin in card reader

Anyone know how to staighten a pin in the card reader on a rebel xti? Or a repair shop in Jacksonville florida?

    I don't know what the general procedure is, but if it is really bent I would not want to fiddle with it myself. I'd say go to the shop where you got it, and see if they have any suggestions? Maybe another shooter on this forum has some good advice? ear.gif

    A pair of bent tip forceps (tweezers) have worked for me in the past to straighten out pins.

    Unless you have done it before, visit the shop.

    I agree with this... If they break it, they have to replace it. Should actually be a rather cheap ($$) fix.

    Computer repair people/shops are another good bet to straighten the pin.
