Looks like the WB on this shoot wasn't as good as it could have been.

    some godd stuff here. I really like #3 - sharp and something different. The only ones I'm not crazy about are 5 & 8 - both are a bit soft although on #5 I think it might be motion blur.

    Still very nice series. Great WB and good variety.
    What lens for the first shot if I may ask?

    I think the softness on 5 is actually depth of field. At f1.6, it's tough to get it all in. The player in the middle is pretty sharp, but the other two are a bit closer. The first shot is with the Sigma 30mm f1.4.

    Actually that was my point - his face is NOT that sharp but his uniform is. Look at the ear & eye area - it's blurred. If it isn't motion blur then it's back focused - the ball is definitely sharper than the face.
