Gallery load times

Not sure where this question should go (forum wise) but, I'm about to upload a large batch of photos to my site and I started to wonder......

will the number of images per gallery change how fast the gallery it'self loads for the visitor?

Am I better off putting Sunset images into one gallery and food and drink images into another gallery?

Since there's a search box, finding them will not be a problem in various galleries but, having to sort them into different galleries would just be an extra step I really don't need right now.

Thanks in advance,
Markjay

    For your visitors, no difference.

Larger galleries (hundreds/thousands) can make it harder on YOU to manage (sort, arrange, watermark, etc).
