I have a custom watermark I want to be the default one used upon upload.
However, each time I upload phtoos the standard PROOF watermark appears.

Am I missing something, I thought I set my custom watermark as the default one?

Suggestions and reminder where to set the default watermarking?

Thank you
Markjay
Canon AE1 - it was my first "real camera"
Canon 20D - no more film!

In the gallery tools drop down menu - select customize gallery
About half-way down the is option for Watermark. Watermarking should be set to "yes". Next, if the Watermark selection box says "SmugMug" then all images will show with the word "Proof". Use the Watermark selection box's drop-down arrow to select your watermark image. Save the settings. Any new image uploaded to this gallery will have your watermark.

You will also have to re-watermark all the existing images in the gallery to change the existing "Proof" to your specific watermark. That is done using the photo tools menu and Watermarking option. After selecting the watermarking option under "photo tools" choose select all, click the option for "add", and then click on the Watermark icon.

    still having watermark troubles :-(
This is now becoming an annoyance!

I have my smugmug settings set to watermark
I have my default watermark selected in the settings
I upload the photos and guess what.....

they still receive the default PROOF watermark

At this rate, it will take me till Dec 31st of 2008 to get this upload of my stock images up on the site. :-(

Anyone who would like to step in and help, I would greatly appreciate it.
At the moment, I have the watermarks being removed just from one or two of them to see if THAT functions properly today?

Here's the gallery in question. IF this link does not take you to the last page in the gallery, please do so.

As an update: I just checked and the watermark removal of the firs two images in that gallery have not yet taken place :-(

Hello Mark, it is because you have hidden the watermark, and so we can't get to it to watermark your photos, and so therefore we're defaulting to the default.

Why hide it? Put it in your site images gallery and leave it unhidden.

All will be right in your world after that.

    Moved watermark
K, I moved the watermark to a private (not password protected, just not public) gallery where I keep my "web files" and watermark is no longer hidden.

Do I need to do anything else because the watermark is now in a different location then before?

As long as it's not hidden, all will be fine, please let us know if you have trouble.
