Hi Guys,

This is my last picture digitalized from my best slides taken in the West in June.

A difficult image to process with the different contrasts. Not very very easy !!!! :crazy When i've taken this picture it was necessary to use my sun glasses with my camera with the strong light. But a beautiful day.

Mammoth Hot Spring is a remarkable place in Yellowstone. The 17mm lens has given a deep view with the clouds over this white field :

The camera was a Nikon F4 , Sigma Pro Serie 17mm lens at f/5.6, Fuji Provia 100 ISO slide film.

Enjoy !!

Very cool. Might have to go break out the film camera again. thumb.gif

I think the picture might be enhanced by cropping out the bottom section of dirt and little vegetation that is darker than the white ground. Just a thought.

I like way this turned out but as has been suggested, the vegetation distracts
    from the subject.
