Hi Everyone,
Thought I would post a few recent shots.
One of the eagles (4 to 5 at the lake every day) came soaring over today. I really had to reach but I got a couple shots. This one is loosing its juvenile feathers and changing over to white. I am amazed that all 4 or 5 show up at the same time every day, that is very strange for Arizona. They sort of hunt in a pack, I have never seen this before. One will take off and get the water birds all in a frenzy then the other will join in and work the area.. it's really something to watch.
The hawks were working the tall grass and having very good luck. One has a snack in its talons and then lands to enjoy his catch. There must have been 20 to 30 Harriers, Red-Tailed and Rough-Legged hawks working the lake today.. they were everywhere.
The little guys were out too and a couple landed with in front of some very red reeds (or something) and it made a very interesting background.
Hope you enjoy..

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
