Wowwwwwwww how lucky was you :jawdrop
and you even got to see the Shuttle take off
The night or early morning ballon displays are awesome to see.
I have only ever been to one of these events several years ago,
but I would love to see another one.
These shots are awesome

Thanks Skippy. I forgot to mention this was an evening balloon glow. I prefer the early morning balloon launches as you get more hours of light.
At this event, which was on Saturday January 12, they started inflating the balloons at 4pm and sunset was around 4:45pm (with overcast skies as you may have noticed). We quickly lost light and many balloons were still inflating in the dark. The event was over at 6pm.
P.S. This balloon can be seen in the skies above our home on a frequent basis.

My favorite is the shuttle, but I love that last shot too.
