Thanks Jeff and Harry. These shots actually aren't really very sharp when shown much larger than that. The Bigma can be frustrating when you have a great photo op, but no time to get out the tripod. Anyway, it's all part of the fun!

I have had the same problem with the 500mm F/4. That's one of the reasons I shoot with two bodies. I usually have one body on the 500 for shots where I can set up the tripod and a handholdable lens like the 300 f/4 or the 80-400 on the second body.

As with Harry, I have the same problem with spontaneous photo ops. I'd love to pull out my 500mm but I can't because I need the tripod. You did a good job and I really like the light.
