SOLD

SOLD Canon 17-40 L

Comes with the soft case, box, and caps but no hood. It's priced low because there's a small dust spot in the lens.

See http://www.pbase.com/chrisp/image/82869259 for an example. The spot is at roughly 1:00 top right, just to the right of the speaker in the corner.

The previous owner made the condition known to me so I'd like to do the same. I got a deal on the price because of it and I'll pass it on. It's a great shooter, no other problems besides the dust. It's cosmetically perfect as well, no chips, scratches, etc.

SOLD Tamron 28-75 2.8, Canon mount

Condition is 9+, nearly perfect. Comes with box minus UPC code, caps, hood. Bought new and well cared for, I have the original paperwork as well.

Pictures from the Tamron at http://www.pbase.com/chrisp/01_04_08.

I have pictures of both lenses at http://www.pbase.com/chrisp/forsale. I'm selling in order to fund a 24-70. The Tamron is a little long for inside and the Canon is a little wide, I'm hoping the 24-70 solves both problems and lightens my kit.

PM is fine, email to j.heartland@gmail.com gets the fastest response.

I'm in Sacramento CA and welcome locals for inspection/sale.

Thanks,
Chris

    Question.....have you checked your sensor? The dust spot you mentioned seems to appear in this picture you pointed out (as well as others) and according to the EXIF you used different lenses? Are you sure the dust is on the lens and not on the sensor?

    using the 17-40:

    using a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f2.8

    and in the picture of your lens ... this one taken with a 50mm

    All different lenses used, and dust spots in all of them about in the same spot.....I'd check for dust on your sensor.

    Thanks for the note. I verified the dust in the lens at the time of purchase from the previous owner, but I have picked up a bunch on the sensor as well since then. I have a Copper Hill cleaning kit on the way.
