Hot damn! I love the textures in the trees, and #2 with the endless layers of mountains. Mountain layers get me every time and the calouds above them just make it better.

I wish I could take off of work and just go snowboarding today

Yep, it is a country quite unlike anything I ever expected before coming here (even having made Japanese and Japanese studies my major!)

The layered mountains in Japan are just awesome. I can look at them forever. We were up there snowboarding, but unfortunately, the snow line only started about 2/3 of the way up the mountain, so one side of the resort was closed, and the open side only had man-made snow on the lower runs.
