A day around the farm

So I went walking around the farm today all bundled up with my Christmas gift. This is the first time I have taken the 40D and the 70-200 f/2.8L IS for a stroll. I was very impressed with the camera and the lens, I just have to get use to being very precise about my focusing. Here are some pics that I took today, C&C welcome!

The squirrel is backlit, so maybe the reverse angle might have been better if you could have got it. But the way they move, I assume that was your only chance.

Yes, the squirrel did not have the best lighting, he was a little anxious about me anyway so I just shot what I had. Good point though to not have a backlit subject. Thanks!
