Hi,
I noticed a problem on my website
http://werth.smugmug.com
On self created sites like portfolio or awards the photos did open in big versions. They don´t do this any longer. I didn´t changed these pages in the past weeks. Any ideas why it stopped working?
cheers,
andreas

    It appears as though the direct link you have used for the lightbox is not correct. You are using the wrong gallery numbers. Did you move the images to another gallery by any chance?

    Thanks ivar,
    I have to look into this.
    Can´t remember, honestly.
    I´m not even sure wheter I uploaded them into that specific gallery before changing it to a html site.

    Is there any way to look what photos are inside, because they are sort of hidden since I changed the gallerys to html pages?
    cheers,

    Here's one example, your guestbook gallery. It will allow you to see the
    photos in the gallery logged in if there are any.

    .gallery_2810791 .journal_entry {display:none;}
    .loggedIn .gallery_2810791 .journal_entry {display:block;}

    Thanks Allen,
    changed that and found out, no uploads but one.

    Well, the problem is not yet solved.

    Example:

    In my portfolio, the first DATZ Cover has this link to show the Cover in a bigger version with that black, transparent background:

    http://werth.smugmug.com/gallery/2845809#148989218-L-LB (doesn´t work any longer)
    Note: 2845809 is the portfolio gallery

    okay. If you go to the gallery, where the photo is stored, the link would be:
    http://werth.smugmug.com/gallery/2792798#148989218-L-LB
    instead.

    You see, it is only a different gallery number.

    but that was made with purpose! A trick. Because after a visitor closes the big view, he will usually transported back to the gallery where the photo is stored. And that is what I changed by editing the link. I replaced the gallery (photo home) with the gallery (portfolio), where I wanted the visitor to jump back. And it worked until some days/weeks (?) ago. Now no longer :-(

    I hope I could make the problem clear.
    Was there a change in the overall smugmug code?

    I don't think it should work, I'm sorry. I don't know why it worked before. I think there is an easy solution though; Upload the photos in the portfolio gallery, like normal, and create a link to that photo in the lightbox. You can choose to not show the part with the 'normal' photos with a single line in CSS. Would that work ear.gif

    Thank you, Ivar
    I made a second copy of the photos and moved them into the gallery (portfolio) - now it works again :-)
    great.

    Now one more thing: due to Allens advice i added these lines to see whether there are photos inside:

    .gallery_2845809 .journal_entry {display:none;}
    .loggedIn .gallery_2845809 .journal_entry {display:block;}

    But even if I remove these lines, one can see the photos at the end of the page.

    What was that code you were talking about to hide that stuff? At least for visitors...
