more moment catching
I've been trying to redefine what a "keeper" photo is for myself, while trying to capture moments. Here is what I ended up with yesterday...
#1 - boundless energy - this shot provides some tension for me, because of the angle and his position in the shot - I just like it
#2 - can you spot my tree elf? it would have been better if he were poking out the other side, but you don't always get what you want when shooting children
#3 - liked the light
#4 - posing...not my favorite thing from him, but I loved seeing the shadows from his long eye lashes, above his eyes
Thanks for looking and taking part as I attempt to grow!

I like the first one best. I like the offset tilted look.
Cheers! Ivar :-)

a cute kid, and a good subject-
like all the pics, but #3: a little oof in the face?-
correct with pp maybe?-
Thanks, George! Yes, he can be quite the ham! I think maybe the lighting makes his face appear a bit soft on #3, but when I zoom in on it, it's quite crisp. Thanks for stopping by!
