I am a soft touch for large old forts, and this one is spectacular. 4 Km in diameter housed 30,000 troops - WOW!
The posted images are lovely, but I like several shots of the fort in your smugmug gallery much better

Very interesting and informative post Awais. You should do a longer post and put it in the Journeys forum - this is perfect for that venue. You would have room to expand on the historical significance of this fort and this region.

I have big plans with new camera to visit such places in Pakistan aim is to pack whole pakistan in my Gallery will do that before i leave .......
Onwards i am putting watermarks on the photos which i don't like but these days even national television has started to steal the work available online ! who can ask them.....
