I bought this lovely little lens only a few weeks ago, but don't really need it. Please, allow my impulse buy to be your bargain buy. 
It's in perfect condition, only used a few times. The lens came with a metal HN-23 lens hood and I purchased a Nikon NC filter (62mm) to cover the front element. The lens hasn't seen the sun without either.
I paid (at my favorite local shop) $420 for the lens and $65 for the filter. That's $485 total. Everything in the photo below--lens, filter, hood, box, front and rear caps, plus paperwork--will be yours for $400, shipped (and insured).
