I was looking back through some old pics I took on the D70, and came across these few that just needed a bit of PP. Comments welcome. Also, please tell me the names of the birds I don't know. Cheers.

    The sparrow shot is ylsuper.gif

Now as for the last shot. We have had a pigeon free forum for quite awhile. I am not pleased that the winning steak has been broken. I'm getting flashbacks of my car in NYC after a pigeon "attack".

I'll be off the net for a bit until I find my meds. :pissed

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hi Mike.. Not sure on the names but I do like the Magpie's. I've never seen this type before, very different from what ours look like. Nice set..thumb.gif

These are a completely unrelated bird I think Chris. They are quite aggressive in nesting season, and do attack people. They will take chunks of hair out of your scalp, and occasionally go for the eyes!:uhoh

Thanks Ric. Yep, it was a cold day and he was perched in the bush right in front of me! He didn't want to move, and really didn't seem to mind me getting all up in his face!

Sorry to unbalance you Harry! :D My missus shares your hate for pigeons after they decided to nest on the balcony of her old apartment, without even building a nest! They just laid the eggs on the cold cement.

Nice shots! I really like the comp in #3, but the shot just seems to sharp for me. If it was alittle bit less sharp I think it would be awesome!thumb.gif

    Cheers Brenton

    Here is the unsharpened image:

And here is the sharpened one I posted first:

Which do you prefer? Or would an in-between shot be better?
