free downloads for select clients possible?

My galleries are posted primarily for people to come, browse, and buy. But a couple of editorial publications use my photos regularly as well. I'd like for them to be able to download images without having to pay the normal rate for that. They pay me monthly and not per photo. Is there any way I can give them access to my galleries and let them download what they want (for free) by entering a password or something?

    Password protect their gallery, make it publicly viewable, and email them the password. Exactly like you think it should work! thumb.gif

    Yes, what Van Isle said is a good way of going about this. It is not possible to go thought the SmugMug cart and get downloads for free, I'm sorry.
