#1 is a hoverfly Eristalinus sp.
#2 is a robber fly.
Think the composition of #2 would have been better with the fly further over the left.

Love the banding in the eyes ........ I am so hanging out to find a bug that has more than just plain compound eyes
Both shots look great, they eyes are sooooo in focus :ivar
