Ice Racing, Black River NS

Conditions were bad to say the least. My hands got so cold I had to stop riding and start taking pictures, but it wasn't much warmer.
I was having focusing issues last weekend but these seemed to turn out a bit better, still not perfect but it's getting closer.

    Nice photos!
    Really gets me anxious to ride this spring!
    Pic one is in your face! I love it!

    I have always thought about putting my KDX on the ice!

    Do you stud your own tires?
    (if so what do you use)
    Or use Trelli's?

    KDX would be great on the ice. One buddy has a KX500 engine in a YZ250 frame and it runs great.
    I tried to stud my own but you can only get them so good. I broke down and
    bought professional "Quebec" tires and smoked everyone on the ice last year. This year
    they got wise and bought their own, now I'm running mid pack.

    Nice action shots. I have a riding buddy that races on a nearby track. But's it's not on ICE!! bowdown.gif

    I hope to get a chance to take a few shots this spring. Looks like a lot of fun.

    Conditions were perfect but cold for today's ice races.
    I ended up taking 310 pictures and got quite a bit better results.

    Great photos! I was out today and there were 3 or 4 guys riding Old School bikes on the ice, Bultacos, Penton, Honda XL250. I broke rule #1, I didn't have my camera with me:cry

    Looks like great fun! A group I raced harescrambles with usually goes ice racing in the winter, but I never had the cash for the trip (we lived in VA at the time). I hear the traction is insanely good!
