I see it now. Though #1 is a cool shot, your current entry is tender, and captures the theme explicitly.

I prefer the current (2nd shot, the hands) entry. The first is a nice picture, but I think the simpler composition of the second captures the theme best.

lol, yeah, I was getting really nervous because I felt strongly about the first one to so I wasn't sure if he was just agreeing with me to make me happy.
